Usage/Instructions
Ø
NEVER leave a burning candle UNATTENDED!
Always
keep an eye on any lit candles..
Ø
Never burn last 1/4" of *any* candle!
Burning to the bottom can present a higher fire hazard
(excess heat can break the container causing your flame to
travel; also flammable impurities can collect over time in
the bottom of the jar).
Ø
Burn
candles for
no more than 3-4 hours
at a time. This is for aesthetic as well as safety
reasons. Read FAQ's for more.
Ø
Keep your
wicks trimmed to 1/4"
at all times to avoid high flames and soot (trim before
lighting). Do not leave trimmings in your wax. Trim
before lighting.
Ø
Place all
burning candles on heat- and flame-resistant surface, as all
containers can get very hot.
Ø
Keep
candles
away from children, pets, and objects
that can be flammable.
Ø
Keep your
candles
away from drafts
- they will cause your candle to burn unevenly and present a
fire hazard. Keep your candle away from moving
objects, such as pets, curtains, etc.
Ø
Do not
blow, instead
snuff out candles
- blowing may allow lit pieces of wick to land on flammable
surroundings.
Ø
Never
burn
cracked/chipped/old jar candles
– excess heat can break the jar and cause the burning wick
to travel.
Ø
Burn
votives
in
tight-fitting containers
- they liquefy to develop a scent pool.
Ø
Use
scent rings only on incandescent bulbs under 60 watts.
Do not use our liquid scents in tart warmers/heated items or
on the skin; unheated potpourri use is fine.
Ø
Burn
pillars and
cinnamon bun novelty candles
in deep
containers (such as a glass bowl), to catch drips and leaks.
Ø
Before
using any bath & body products, test on a very small
area of skin first, then wait 48 hours; people react
differently to scent and other components. We use
skin-safe components in our bath & body items, however as
with all body products, customer diligence is required.
Above all, ENJOY your new fragrance!
